Mid-Century Holiday decorating ideas (and a few more blogs to visit)!

Today I’m mid-century crafty blog hopping, so you don’t have to!

Design within Reach posted this fantastic picture of Frank Lloyd Wright’s 1930s “Falling Water” — made out of gingerbread (and pez, LOVE the pez). It was designed and built (in 40+ hours) by the folks at GardenMelodies.blogspot.com – and I just popped over to their blog and you can buy the plans to build your own!

Fantastic – not sure if I could bring myself to eat it tho!
Danielle Thompson (who has a fabby blog of her own) designed them and if you pop over to the ornament party, see more great pictures of these ornaments and you can download the pattern yourself. Wow, eh?
