Puzzling Optical Illusion Bookshelf with a Beautiful Minimalist Design

Seen on LikeCool, his highly creative shelving system was designed by John Leung from ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects and has a very intriguing appearance. According to the designer “the bookshelf looks cartoony and almost invisible but that’s not even the real illusion, the real mind bender is that there are what seems like 4 shelves on the left side but only 3 shelves on the right side”. We really like this feature, even though it could cause some misunderstandings when it comes to asking your girlfriend to “grab that CD on the 2nd row” for example. Simple, practical and quite stylish, the unit can serve as a storage device for small objects such as books and CDs.  Be sure to check out the video at the end of the post for a general understanding of how this shelving unit can puzzle the mind.
