Bright and Fun Shelf Reminiscent of Summer Days
Furniture designer Martin Gallagher created a beautiful shelf design that reminds us of the bright summer days. Inspired by the eternal movement of the waves, this undulating concept arises from the need of having a dynamic design that not only keeps us thinking happy thoughts, but is also highly functional and modern. Made from birch plywood, the shelf was constructed layer by layer in order to compress each sheet for a beautiful final result: a unique block shelf that persuades you to use it every day. The exterior of the block has natural colours, but the interior wave is available in colorful finishes to brighten up the adjacent space or clear lacquer for a more formal appearance. Stripes along the shelf ensure the modernity of the furniture item, fully exploring the idea behind the shelving unit.
