Unconventional Chair and Miniature Bookcase : Bookseat
We posted a lot of ideas on Freshome that emphasized some unusual extra functions that a chair may have, aside from providing seating space. Here’s an idea that is perfect for those who enjoy a good book more often than others. Bookseat comes from Fishbol and it is basically a miniature bookcase which was elegantly curved in order to become a comfortable chair. This double function turns Bookseat into an original furniture item, suited for traditional interiors, but for contemporary ones as well. The unusual chair was showcased at Toronto Interior Design Show 2008, but we decided to post it on Freshome nevertheless, because we found out that it will be relaunched in 2011 in an updated version.
