How would you like to be constantly surrounded by invisible electronic menus that can be activated at your own will? For some people that could be highly irritating, while for others (the tech maniacs) it could be like a dream come true. “Augumented City” is a film recently presented by Keiichi Matsuda at London’s 3D Film Festival and even thought it may look futuristic, we think it is not as different from our lifestyle as many might first perceive it. Here is more from the creator of the project: “The architecture of the contemporary city is no longer simply about the physical space of buildings and landscape, more and more it is about the synthetic spaces created by the digital information that we collect, consume and organise; an immersive interface may become as much part of the world we inhabit as the buildings around us”  Be sure to take a look at the video below (preferably using 3D glasses) and let us know how you cope with the invasion of technology in your life.
