The Rincon Bates House belongs to Studio27 Architecture and is located in Capitol Hill, Washington DC. We think the residence is perfectly integrated in this type of famous residential neighborhood, don’t you? The architects completely redefined the interior of an old house, creating open spaces and concentrating on a connection to the exterior and natural ventilation. Sustainability was also an important factor to consider when reanalyzing the interior space and the traditional energy use was reduced to a minimum. We like the indoor stairs connecting the two floors, as they create a cool interior maze, which highlights the contemporary furniture and beautiful arrangements.
