Invisible speakers, wireless electricity and games you can control with your brain: all of these things may sound like science fiction, but thanks to recent technological innovation, they’re officially within the realm of possibility – or even already available. Some improve quality of life while others are just plain fun, but all of these futuristic [...]

Classic Home Ideas From Central Kitchen & Bath

We found this original collection of kitchen interiors from Central Kitchen & Bath. Even though there is a large variety you can observe while admiring  these arrangements, one common thing is noticeable. The furniture and atmosphere reminds one of a pre-modern era, without flashy furniture, LCD monitors or fancy lighting.  The pendant lamps and chandeliers [...]

The interiors and the characters somehow rounded out my week and I’m missing it. So, starting next Monday we will  have an in depth analysis of the interiors on Mad Men [...]

If you WiFi it, people will come.

After trekking through the busy footpaths and congestion in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi, I’ve arrived safely in the very established little city of Den Haag, Holland.

A notable difference from Perth, Australia, is the very giving nature of its social institutions. Today I sit in a little library near the coast sucking dry their free, super fast wireless internet (I’ve got work to finish from Australia). I’m not the only one. This library is being used by a huge number of people on a Monday morning no doubt! All tapping away on their little laptops.

Cities should be drenched in Wifi. They are social condensers. It is yet another way to get people flocking to a location, even if they are staring directly into the endless vortex of cyberspace.
