Apple New Mighty Mouse - The Magic Mouse

Apple did a sweeping upgrade to its iMacs, Macbooks and notably the Mouse. All were released while I slept down here in the Southern Hemisphere. To see the upgrades to the unibody enclosures on the desktop and laptops click here.

There is nothing more exciting than waking up to a new suite of well designed computers and peripherals, especially if you use them as much as I do. Some people love cars…They are nice, I just tend to use cars only on occasion hence my A to B mentality.

As you can see from the images above they have come a long way. The biggest development from the previous mighty mouse is of course the adaptation of multitouch technology inside the mouse, and the subsequent reduction of moving components. The mighty mouse, like all well used Mice, had the inconvenience of getting filthy dirty, and the trackball would make your mouse icon jump. It was well overdue for an upgrade. You only have to use a macBook or an iPhone to see the beauty in using multitouch. It is a more humane way of driving a computer. Everything is controlled via sweeping movements…now available on the top of a mouse!

Of course all of this is said whilst only imagining that it works. But I can’t imagine that it wouldn’t, and the reviews seem sound enough. Looking forward to mine!
