The great couch hunt
Ok, this is LATE – but we’ve been madly searching for a new chair (pictures to come of that, so far failed, hunt) but here’s our fabulous sofa find:
Yep, $35 on Craigslist. Skippy eh? Now, it needs recovering because of some “cat damage” on the arms, however we have 3 cats ourselves who are “learning” not to scratch it. Then I plan to recover it in some totally funky barkcloth fabric. (oh, and click through on Flickr if you want to see a front view)
The fun part of the story tho – was look what we had to drive throught to get it:
Poor us! ha ha! No really it was 5 miles on dirt road, WAY outside of Ft. Collins. So, after we got ourselves out of that, we had to drive 60 miles down a busy highway to take it home to our city abode.
It was a really fun adventure tho and I’d do it again in a heartbeat for a wonderful couch.
Which brings me to the chair – anyone?
