Mid Century voyeur
We were out being mid-Century voyeur’s this weekend. I’ve glanced at these houses while driving by, but we finally drove around up close and personal and wow! totally cool! I didn’t get the best photo of the first one because you have to drive down their driveway to get it, but it’s a great house. The pom pom junipers are awesome and I bet most of the stuff on it is original. According to Zillow it was built in 1964.
This house is across the street and has an amazing view of the mountains.
Again, according to Zillow it was built in 1932, but “updated” in 1942. Still a bit ahead of it’s time, don’t you think?
So, with Zillow and a camera phone you really can kind of “stalk” these 1950’s homes. I feel bad, but I often wonder if people know how cool the houses they live in are? Do you think they do?
